Agreements and MoUs

The agreements and memorandums of understanding (hereafter referred to as "agreements, etc.") concluded through deliberations of the International Committee are listed on each link, including information on the deliberations of the Committee, information on the institutions with which the agreements were concluded, the background/purpose/necessity of the agreements, future activity plans/activity results, etc.
Please refer to these links when confirming the content of each activity or when concluding new agreements in the future.

Agreements

The agreement is defined by the English word "Agreement" and "includes the activities of the Society as a whole, such as co-sponsorship of conferences, lectures, and other events" (Article 4 of the Regulations Concerning Agreements with Overseas Related Organizations) and "shall be drafted by the International Committee and approved by the Board of Directors" (Article 5 of the Regulations).

Memorandum of Understanding

A Memorandum of Understandings is a document that is "limited to the content of daily activities by the committees concerned, such as information exchange and exchange of engineers" (Article 4 of the Regulations Concerning Agreements with Overseas Organizations) and is "drafted by the Overseas Activities Support Committee, approved by the International Committee, and then reported to the Board of Directors. The "Agreement with Overseas Related Organizations" (Article 4 of the Regulations Concerning Agreements with Overseas Related Organizations) is "drafted by the Overseas Activities Support Committee and reported to the Board of Directors after approval by the International Committee.

The following agreements and memorandums of understanding (MOUs) that are currently valid and concluded by the Institution of Professional Engineers before the establishment of the International Exchange Guidelines will be terminated at the expiration date or new agreements and memorandums of understanding will be concluded again after deliberation by the International Committee.
