　My name is Ji-hyung Lee of Busan Korea.
Clearly speaking, the Korea society is not yet gender equality at all. It may be due to the deep traditional Confucianism flowing in Korea Society.
　Many women who received the high quality education, they have to stop their work because of marriage, childbirth, child care and after they meet the difficulties for re-entry into society. For men there are more promotion opportunities and higher salary at workplace.
　In my house, my mother was a gender discrimination. I was married at the same time go on to PhD, while the child was born and I received a PhD degree and PE license. Anywhere, anytime I am working hard, and doing my best with passion even though many circumstance either house or society were not good. I can get a high position (managing director) in the workplace as a fruitage of the hard working, PhD degree, and PE licenses. I don’t recognize so sure in my workplace or work.
　I think to make gender equality society that although the difference in physical strength for men and women, women should actively work done and try continuously for improving the bad circumstances. Don’t stop towards the dream. Never stop effort for your achievement.
　And you will be able to obtain the proper rights and gender equality society.

　私は、韓国・釜山在住のJi-hyung Leeです。
　はっきり言って、韓国社会では男女平等がまったく成立していません。これは、古くから韓国社会に根付いている儒教の影響なのかもしれません。
　多くの高等教育を受けた女性が、結婚、出産、育児などのために仕事を中断せざるを得ません。その後、社会復帰の際に困難に遭遇します。職場では、男性が女性よりも高い給料と昇進の機会を得ています。
　私の家では、母は男女を区別していました。
　私は博士課程に進むと同時に結婚し、出産を経て学位と技術士資格を取得しました。
　家庭や社会で不遇な環境となることが多々ありましたが、いつでもどこでも、私は一生懸命働き、全力を尽くしてきました。ハードワークと、学位と技術士の資格の効果もあって、職場で部長職という高い役職に就くことが出来ました。
　職場で、あるいは仕事で、私は男女の区別をはっきりと意識したことはありません。
　男女間に体力的な違いがあるとはいえ、男女平等社会を実現するために、女性は積極的に働き、継続的に男女平等の実現に向けて挑戦しつつづけるべきです。
　夢に向かうことを諦めないでください。目標達成のための努力を止めないでください。
　そうすることで、女性の権利が確保され、男女が平等な社会が実現されるでしょう。
